The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and motivating a team of Sales Managers to meet and exceed targets. Working with your team of 3 reports you will be responsible for driving revenue growth from agency partners and identifying new business opportunities through a solution based sales approach. Your superior sales and sales management skills shall ensure excellent results for both client and employer, seeing retention and growth via digital media solutions - video, podcasts, written content, data solutions & events.

Key Result Areas:

  • Setting sales targets and budgets in conjunction with the Sales Director and  motivating and driving the team to achieve targets
  • Consistently unearth opportunities to increase client base by providing clients with clear and innovative integrated advertising solutions
  • Lead and influence a team of high performing Sales Managers who are well regarded in the industry
  • Business development (through emails, cold calling, networking, existing relationships, agency meetings) to win advertising bookings from clients
  • Build and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and liaise with the wider commercial team to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns
  • Develop and present bespoke advertising solutions to clients and media agencies leveraging all platforms and partnerships

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in providing effective media sales solutions to clients; with at least 3 years managing and leading a team
  • Outstanding relationship building capabilities
  • Exceptional project and time management skills
  • A driven and innovative individual with initiative
  • Strong influencing and negotiation abilities
  • A dynamic and innovative leader with a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • The capacity to build genuine rapport and foster productive client relationships
  • A self-starter with the ability to work semi-autonomously in leading the team day-to-day
