We’re looking for an experienced media sales professional to head up all sales out of the NSW marketplace.

A Media Partnerships Manager with a proven track record across digital and print, who will bring with them a strong pre-existing contact base of both agency and direct (luxury & fashion) brand relationships. You will be highly skilled in developing and solidifying business partnerships and will be confident in your ability to meet and exceed KPIs.

Reporting to the Publisher, based in London; you will be a self-starter and someone who is happy managing the deals from end to end. Sure, you have Ad. Operations support, but no sales team to delegate to – you are it in this market. The successful applicant will be highly passionate about this brand and the offering, as well as being well-versed in the industry and comfortable selling in innovative ideas within the genre.

More on your new role:

Your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by sourcing and securing advertisers across mainly digital and to a lesser degree, print assets.

  • Meeting and hopefully exceeding agreed sales targets
  • Conducting weekly meetings across agency &/or brands direct to build and maintain new and pre-existing brand partnerships
  • Produce proactive pitches each week to ensure an adequate future pipeline
  • Ensuring that company is receiving all agency briefs via frequent contact and relationship management of contacts
  • Conducting research to source potential advertiser leads
  • Working closely with the Publisher to develop strategies and new offerings
  • Driving new revenue opportunities
  • Day-to-day education and issue resolution with the wider team

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Exemplary relationship management skills and strong customer focus
  • Existing strong advertiser relationships, particularly with agencies
  • Proficient budget management with the ability to recognise profit and reach targets
  • Experience in the digital environment, print also favourable
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, clients, suppliers and tasks simultaneously
  • Confident across all relevant suites and programs associated with prop creation
  • Excellent initiative with the ability to spot issues early on
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail + ability to look at the big picture
  • Enthusiastic attitude with high levels of motivation and energy
  • Solid management of conflicting priorities and stakeholder needs
  • Pride in work – a sense of ownership and accountability
  • A great attitude and desire to be a contributing member of a strong, collaborative team
