This role reports to the Director, Editorial & Product. You will be seen as a senior member of the overall management group. Someone that will be able to quickly become a specialist across the various product offerings; someone who will be able to educate and inform sales / media agency / clients about the various solutions – commercial return, audience growth, engagement &/or retention.
Define and drive the product vision. Drive innovation and creativity through new product features and product releases.
Work closely with the sales team at all levels ensuring they embrace the various offerings and world’s best practice in the delivery of quality solutions.
Interpret the changing media landscape and ensure that the offerings not only meet relevant success metrics but try and exceed market expectations.
Manage multiple relationships across organisational boundaries and establish key stakeholder relationships with third party platforms and other technology partners.
Strategic oversight and coordination of responses to briefs on all large campaigns where possible.
Coordination of key messages and USPs for all products.
In collaboration with the sales team; drive proactivity and revenue growth through the development of targeted client and category presentations and strategic arguments.
Produce product specific market collateral.
Define up to date templates, determining best product representation.
Preparation, practice and execution of market road show presentations.
Champion innovation across the product range.
Senior level experience as a product / brand manager, digital strategist, lead planner or buyer within a digital media agency; or from a senior digital publisher / sales management background
Comfortable in senior level dialogue with CMO’s, Strategists, Group Business Directors, senior management.
Strong relationship building skills with the ability to engage with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Management experience preferred – you have 3 reports in this role.
Interest in and understanding of media strategy as well as research methodology and technology/data capability.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Have a proven record of success of multi-channel campaign management or product development within the digital media landscape.
