We are looking for an experienced media sales professional to join this small, but fast-growing media brand. If you’re a successful sales professional in the media and/or digital space, with a genuine passion for travel, outdoor adventure and the protecting our natural world, then read on.

As Sales Manager you will be charged with securing brand partnerships, selling branded content, video, and events. Recent collaborations include Canon, Kathmandu, Destination NSW, Vanuatu Tourism, Jeep, James Squire, Australian Ethical, Patagonia, Tourism Tasmania, BMW, Harley-Davidson, The North Face, Tourism NT and Paypal.

The core responsibilities of the role:

  • Generate new business opportunities across the platform to meet revenue targets via sponsored content, events, display advertising and broader collaboration packages
  • Promote / sell in the business’s film/photo production, copywriting services, influencer marketing and destination marketing services
  • Collaborate with the Founder, Editorial, Production, and Social teams to identify and grow existing and new revenue streams
  • Continue to build up a presence within media agencies

 

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2-3 years sales experience (ideally at a digital publisher or media agency) with a passion for brand partnerships
  • Highly motivated and process driven self-starter able to build and maintain successful partnerships with clients &/or their agencies
  • Bring a fresh and creative approach to ideation, proposals and presentations
  • Have a genuine love for nature, travel and the great outdoors – a passion for the brand is absolutely essential.
  • Interpersonal, optimistic and collaborative team player
