Working in a sales team of around 10 and reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll be part of a talented and passionate group that drives the commercial sales in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington.

Our client is looking for an ambitious digital media sales executive who can work collaboratively to create and implement advertising sales partnerships / campaigns with some of Australia's and the world's top brands, institutions and events.

This (digital only) publisher is committed to finding meaningful and relevant ways for brands and institutions to connect with their highly engaged audience. Current advertisers include Jameson, Heineken, Mercedes-Benz, Google, Telstra, Samsung, Adidas, Corona, Perrier, MasterCard, Toyota, Red Bull, Sony & Moet.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing direct and agency clients across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Driving sales, digital innovations and revenue opportunities through the business in order to meet revenue targets.
  • Providing sales and client management support to the Business Director.
  • Managing a Business Executive, ensuring effective campaign delivery and reporting.
  • Working with the Partnerships Editor to deliver branded content and activations for commercial partners.

Ideally you have:

  • Sales experience working in digital with a particular focus on display, content and/or social solutions, with a minimum of two years selling.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Natural ability to work collaboratively and mentor more junior team members.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Superb client and personal management skills.
  • Sound ability to create, develop and present proposals and reports.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and possibility InDesign and Photoshop.
