They specialise in factual lifestyle genres and are the creative force behind some of Australia’s most popular and well-loved programming including Bondi Vet, The Living Room, Paramedics, Teen Mum and Vet on the Hill. Their programs are licenced to over 170 territories around the world. WTFN is also one of the country’s biggest producers of branded content, having successfully delivered content projects for many a household name.

Our client is looking for an experienced media sales professional to join its award-winning team. The Head of Sales is a pivotal person within the WTFN content business. Reporting to the General Manager, and working closely with the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will be required to devise annual sales plans, develop content sales opportunities, manage a significant sales pipeline, and pitch / negotiate and close deals with brands

Role Key Objectives:

  • Drive sales on WTFN’s branded television and content pipeline with brands
  • Improve WTFN’s connectivity with clients, creative agencies &/or media agencies
  • Manage and deliver on a sales pipeline worth millions of dollars each year 

Key Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • At least five years’ experience in media sales
  • Demonstrable experience / understanding / passion for the television production industry
  • Evident experience in driving significant sales pipelines over a sustained period 
  • Demonstrable ability to close major deals with brands
  • Impeccable contacts and ongoing relationships with major brands
  • Secured high profile funding for content projects across television and digital channels
  • Expertise in sales planning, managing sales pipelines and reporting
  • Expertise in preparing and delivering, sales presentations and decks
